Hugh Philpott the new UK Ambassador to Turkmenistan

AKIPRESS.COM - UK Ambassador to Turkmenistan Hugh Philpott delivered copies of his credentials to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov on Oct 16, the Turkmen foreign ministry said.
They discussed expanding regular contacts between the foreign ministries of the two countries, cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United Kingdom within the framework of international organizations such as the UN and OSCE.
The establishment in the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group with the House of Lords of the United Kingdom of Great Britain in 2018 marked the evidence of active inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two states.
Meredov expressed readiness for supporting the Ambassador's activities aimed to further develop bilateral relations.
