AKIPRESS.COM - Athletes from Kyrgyzstan won four medals at the Asian Sambo Championship held June 4-6 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. In men's 79kg, Dairbek Kariyaev won three straight bouts and became the Asian champion.
Temirlan Toktorbayev and Nurisbek Bekberdiyev reached the finals and claimed silver medals.
Bekbolsun Kerimbekov won the bronze medal.
