Kyrgyz team finished 70th in Tokyo Olympics medal count

AKIPRESS.COM - The Kyrgyz team finished 70th in the medal count of the Summer Olympics in Tokyo. The Olympics took place July 21-August 8. 339 medal events took place.
Kyrgyz athletes won three medals, two silver and one bronze making the country to take 70th place in the medal standing among 206 nations. 93 countries won medals.
The US team led the medal standing with 113 medals: 39 gold, 41 silver and 33 bronze. Second place went to China with 88 medals (38, 32, 18), the third - to Japan with 58 medals (27, 14, 17).
