AKIPRESS.COM - Construction of a village first-aid station started in Maksat village in Batken region with the assistance of one of the public associations.
The deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Jyldyz Bakashova and locals participated in groundbreaking ceremony. In the future, this medical facility will have dental equipment.
Additionally representatives of the public association donated milk cows to 15 families and food packages to 500 families.
Maksat village in Leilek district was one of the places caught in the zone of armed conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border on April 28-30, 2021.
As a result of the conflict, the residents of Maksat village suffered significant losses: houses were burned, facilities were destroyed, cars were damaged. A school and a kindergarten were damaged.
