Veterans of Great Patriotic War paid 70,000 soms

AKIPRESS.COM - Acting mayor of Bishkek Baktybek Kudaibergenov congratulated veterans of the Great Patriotic War on the 76th anniversary of the Victory, the mayor's office said.
Kudaibergenov visited veterans Kasmaly Osmonov, Anna Kutanova, Alexander Pavlikov and Nadezhda Madraimova and conveyed congratulations from President Sadyr Japarov.
This year veterans of the Great Patriotic War were paid 70,000 soms each.
There are 650 veterans, including 9 disabled veterans, 32 participants of the Great Patriotic War, 11 juvenile prisoners of concentration camps, 10 Leningrad blockade survivors, 204 home front workers, 382 widows of WWII veterans, 1 labor veteran, and 1 family of fallen soldiers.
