Another batch of humanitarian aid took off from Bishkek to Batken

AKIPRESS.COM - The Help Batken government taskforce to help residents of Batken region affected by the Kyrgyz-Tajik armed conflict sent 3 trucks of humanitarian aid on May 3-4, said the State Agency on Youth Affairs. In total of 55 tons of cargo including medicines, food, bedding, personal hygiene products and clothes were collected and sent.
Earlier, 65 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered to Batken region on May 1-2. In total, since the creation of the taskforce 6 trucks with 120 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered to the region.
The Help Batken goodwill taskforce was created by the government of Kyrgyzstan, dial 1227 to help.
