AKIPRESS.COM - The capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, today has topped the air pollution ranking released by air quality monitoring site IQAir.
As of 4.40 p.m. of December 17, the top 10 cities with the most polluted air included:
Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) - 268
Sarajevo (Bosnia & Herzegovina) - 193
Dhaka (Bangladesh) - 193
Delhi (India) - 184
Lahore (Pakistan) - 180
Krakow (Poland) - 172
Mumbai (India) - 168
Calcutta (India) - 162
Belgrade (Serbia) - 158
Warsaw (Poland) - 157.
Only Bishkek is among top 10 polluted cities. Nur-Sultan is on the 23rd place, Tashkent is on the 21st place. Capitals and other big cities of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan are not included into rankings.
Around 100 cities appear on rankings.
