Kyrgyzstan's exports grew largely because of growth in export of gold

AKIPRESS.COM - Exports of Kyrgyzstan amounted to $1,663.8 million in 10 months amounting to 104.7% of the level of January-October 2019, according to the National Statistics Committee. Exports increased due to the growth in exports of gold by 30.9%, the share of which in total exports increased from 41.1% to 51.4%.
The committee recorded 4.4-fold increase in exports of live animals; ores and concentrates of precious metals by 22.7%, waste and scrap of ferrous metals by 21.2%, machinery and equipment by 20.6%, equipment and mechanical devices by 16.9%, fruits and nuts by 11.3%, plastic containers by 9.9%, coal by 9.4%, milk and dairy products by 6%.
