AKIPRESS.COM - Representatives of parliamentary factions will elect a technical prime minister, Chingiz Makeshov, former leader of Yiman Nuru party, said at the meeting of the people's coordination council.
The candidate for Prime Minister should meet 2 requirements: this candidate should be young and should not be an MP, he said.
"Representatives of political parties will convene and will elect a technical prime minister, who will perform duties for 2-3 months. This prime minister will not run in the parliamentary elections and will not represent interests of other parties. His task will be to hold honest and open elections and then resign," Makeshov said.
Temirbek Asanaliev, leader of Meken Yntymagy party, said, all parties, except for Mekenim Kyrgyzstan, Birimdik and Kyrgyzstan, are present at the meeting.
"Representatives of the parties will set up the coordination council, which will address all issues collectively. The main thing now is to avoid clashes," Asanbekov said.
According to the resolution, the coordination council will have right to schedule elections.
"We agreed now we will nominate one candidate. The coordination council nominates Tilek Toktogaziev. Other candidates may be nominated as well. The prime minister was elected yesterday, but there weren't any decisions of the factions. If Sadyr Japarov wants, he may nominate himself for the Primer Minister and his candidacy will be considered as well," Janar Akaev (Ata Meken) said.
