Tajik-Uzbek home appliances JV opened in Dushanbe

AKIPRESS.COM - The Tajik-Uzbek joint venture for produciton of home appliances Artel Avesto Electronic was opened on September 29 in Dushanbe.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Prime Ministers of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, Parliament Speaker, Dushanbe mayor.
The production line will allow production of 43 titles of equipment. It was imported from Uzbekistan, Russia, South Korea and China.
The joint venture will produce water heaters and vaccuum cleaners first. Later production of TV sets and sewing machines will start.
The fist stage of the production line was launched.
