Bishkek mayor's office asks activists to avoid mass gatherings on occasion of World Cleanup Day

AKIPRESS.COM - Citizens of Bishkek take an active part in the cleanup campaigns in the city held on occasion of the World Cleanup Day marked on September 19, mayor's press office said.
"Every year Bishkek residents and workers of the mayor's office, public associations participate in large-scale cleanup events, cleaning the city. But this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, epidemiological situation remain tense in the capital and we ask citizens not to gather at mass cleanup events. The virus is still in the city, it is everywhere, the virus remains in the country and it is very dangerous," the mayor's press office said.
The mayor's office asked each citizen in Bishkek to clean the territory outside their houses, offices, remove waste without risk to their health.
