Construction of new maternity department nears completion in Uzgen

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sooronbai Jeenbekov today became familiarized with the progress of construction of a new maternity department of Uzgen District Hospital, the president's press service reported.
The maternity department was built in 1965. The major repair of the building was not carried out since its launch due to shortage of public funds.
The talks were held with Kuwaiti charity foundation As Safa and construction of new building of the maternity department started in December 2019.
The maternity department is expected to be commissioned in autumn 2020. It will be provided with state-of-the-art medical equipment.
