Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover falls 18.2% in H1

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover fell 18.2% in the first half of 2020 compared to the same period of the previous year, according to the State Statistics Committee.
The foreign trade turnover reached $15.8 billion in the first half of the year. Compared to the first half of 2019, turnover dropped for $3.5 billion.
Export amounted to $6.28 billion (-22.6%), import totaled $9.57 billion (-15%).
Uzbekistan trades with more than 150 countries. The biggest trade volume is observed with China (18.1%), Russia (16.3%), Kazakhstan (8.4%), Republic of Korea (7.1%), Turkey (5.6%), Kyrgyzstna (2.5%), Germany (2.1%).
