AKIPRESS.COM - 5,842 more coronavirus cases are registered in Russia as of July 21, the emergency response team reports.
These cases are registered in 81 regions of the country. 1,412 (24.2%) are contacts of confirmed cases and asymptomatic cases.
The total number of registered cases reached 783,328 (+0.8%).
According to Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing, more than 25.4 million laboratory tests were made, including 197,000 in the previous 24 hours. 562,384 patients recovered. 270,199 patients remain under medical observation.
153 people died from COVID-19 on July 21. Most fatalities are recorded in St. Petersburg - 27 and in Moscow - 17.
The total number of lethal cases from coronavirus in Russia is 12,580.
