Federation Council Speaker Matviyenko offers condolences on death of ex-Speaker Chynybai Tursunbekov

AKIPRESS.COM - "The Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly was saddened to learn about death of the MP, our colleague and former Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Chynybai Tursunbekov," Federal Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko said in the cable addressed to Parliament Speaker Dastan Jumabekov.
The message said the Federation Council highly values contribution of Chynybai Tursunbekov into development of interparliamentary ties with Russia and the attention he always paid to participation of the parliamentary delegation of Kyrgyzstan in work of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly.
"The Federation Council will always remember Chynybai Tursunbekov as a bright and outstanding person. On behalf of the members of the Federation Council I would like to extend deep condolences to the Speaker and members of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan. I would like to pass sincere condolences to family members of Chynybai Tursunbekov," Valentina Matviyenko said.
Chynybai Tursunbekov died from pneumonia on July 6. He was buried at the Ala-Archa Cemetery on July 7.
