Authorities comment on video of ambulance queue in Almaty

AKIPRESS.COM - Almaty's Public Health Department commented on the video that went viral in social networks, showing a long queue of ambulances, Tengrinews.kz reports.
"Due to increased number of patients with coronavirus infection, additional provisional center has been opened at the center of mental health since June 30. Every patient at the hospital was in critical condition as it opened, so doctors had to review them longer than usual, that's why the queue formed," the Department explained.
The provisional center has 200 places.
"The necessary equipment at hospital includes lung ventilators, oxygen bags, personal protective gear for doctors and medicines," the Department representatives said.
