Hotels and restaurants built for 578.3 million soms of investments since year start

AKIPRESS.COM - Gross construction output amounted to 32,959.1 million soms in January-May 2020 or 92.6% of the level of January-May 2019, according to the National Statistics Committee. In May 2020, the gross construction output amounted to 8,611.3 million soms or 12.3% less than in May 2019.
Investments in fixed assets amounted to 87.2% of the level of in January-May 2019 or 32,978.2 million soms. Investments in fixed assets in May 2020 was 7,707.7 million soms, which is 19.7% less than in May 2019.
Investments in construction of hotels and restaurants decreased by 23.3% to 578.3 million soms. Construction was carried out at the expense of the population, funds of enterprises and organizations, as well as bank loans.
