AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan shipped 144 mobile medical containers to Tajikistan.
The containers were transported by railway and have reached Dushanbe this morning, Asia-Plus reported.
Such containers are used as mobile hospital during COVID-19 pandemic.
They will reduce the load on hospitals that can't accommodate all patients, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Dushanbe said.
The containers have beds with linen, sanitation facilities, air conditioners.
The containers will be delivered to Bofanda stadium, where the mobile hospital will be set up.
Dushanbe mayor Rustam Emomali earlier ordered to repurpose unfinished high-rise buildings in Dushanbe to use them as hospitals for COVID-19 patients.
