MP says hundreds of Lohghai workers building road in Issyk-Kul unpaid for 9 months

AKIPRESS.COM - Over 600 workers of the Chinese Longhai company building a road in the Issyk-Kul region cannot get their salaries fore over 9 months, said MP Kojobek Ryspayev at the parliament. A representative of the Ministry of Transport said that the funds have already been transferred to the company under the contract.
"It's necessary to help the workers who haven't received their wages yet. Suing them will take us 9 years, just get the director involved," he said.
