Turkmenistan and International Trade Center dicuss joint projects

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a video conference meeting on the implementation of the EU-funded project of the International Trade Center (ITC) titled "Ready for Trade - Central Asia: Support for intraregional and international trade in Central Asia". The meeting participants discussed the key components of the ITC project. The project is aimed at strengthening the national potential in trade field, improvement of competitiveness and adoption of new trade strategies, in particular for the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The participants called for the development of an action plan for its implementation.
The sides also discussed the treats and challenges to the global economy, considered the joint actions for their successful resolution and exchanged views on the development of economic integration.
The international experts of the ITC, representatives of the ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, including the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Central Bank of Turkmenistan attended the session.
