Kyrgyz, Chinese presidents agree on sending Chinese doctors to Kyrgyzstan to fight coronavirus, discuss opening of border for goods

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov had a telephone conversation with President of China Xi Jinping April 14 to discuss border issues, coronavirus situation. During the conversation Jeenbekov suggested considering facilitating and prolonging the repayment of Kyrgyzstan's foreign debt to China, the press office of the president said.
They also discussed resuming cargo movement through the Kyrgyz-Chinese state border.
The parties agreed to send medical experts from China to Kyrgyzstan to fight against coronavirus. Jeenbekov thanked China for the humanitarian aid provided by China to fight the coronavirus.
Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed his support to Kyrgyzstan's efforts to stem coronavirus.
