Irkeshtam point on Chinese-Kyrgyz border reopens for freight transportation

AKIPRESS.COM - Following the talks with the Chinese authorities, the agreement was reached to reopen the Irkeshtam border crossing point solely for freight transportation since April 14, the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan said.
Reopening of the Torugart border crossing point on the Kyrgyz-Chinese border will be considered depending upon further development of the epidemiological situation in the region.
The borders remain closed for citizens of both countries.
