Over 2.7 million soms transferred to Bishkek account for social support and COVID-19 fight

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 2,711,209 soms were transferred to the special account of the Bishkek mayor's office between April 1 and 10.
Financial assistance was provided by citizens, businessmen, public figures, politicians, workers of the mayor's office.
The funds will be used for purchase of protective coveralls, goggles, gloves, syringes, antiseptics, disinfectants, other essential supplies and to ensure food security.
The account was opened for donations in connection with coronavirus pandemic for protection of citizens from the coronavirus infection.
