Those attending burial of COVID-19 positive old man in Nookat taken to observation point

AKIPRESS.COM - Those who attended the burial rite of the 87-year-old COVID-19 positive man in Nookat district were taken to the observation point, Malik Nurdinov, commandant for Osh, Kara-Suu and Nookat districts, told a briefing today.
A small amount of people partook in the burial, he said.
"During the quarantine, a certificate of death is issued after someone dies. Those who attend the burial are considered as those contacting the known COVID-19 case and will be taken to the observation point as such," the commandant explained the new rules.
The 87-year-old man was buried on April 9 in Nookat district. He returned from Umrah in Saudi Arabia. He was taken to the hospital on March 20 after he developed coronavirus symptoms.
