COVID-19 cases rise to 8 in Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - The number of coronavirus cases grew to 8 in Uzbekistan, Health Minister Alisher Shodmonov said.
Earlier, the Uzbek authorities said 6 COVID-19 cases were confirmed in the country, five of them in the family of the woman who tested positive for coronavirus after arrival to Tashkent from Paris.
The sixth case was confirmed in the patient after arrival from Istanbul.
The details of two last cases were not elaborated.
