Foreigners fined for 3.4 million soms for violation of registration procedures in 2019

AKIPRESS.COM - Fines for 3.4 million soms were imposed in 2019 on foreigners for violation of registration procedures, said the Deputy Interior Minister Mirlan Kanimetov at the parliament meeting on Feb 20. According to him, 354,000 citizens violated the registration procedure in 2019.
The parliament today considered the draft amendments to the law on external migration in the first reading.
The bill initiator Iskhak Pirmatov noted that the bill is aimed at legalizing labor activities of citizens of neighboring countries by issuing patents and canceling labor visas and work permits.
The bill also introduces the responsibility for migrants from bordering nations working in Kyrgyzstan without patent and imposes fine in the amount of 10,000 soms.
