19 police officers wounded in Kordai conflict

AKIPRESS.COM - A total of 178 people, including 19 police officers, sought medical aid within 5 days after Kordai clashes, new governor of Zhambyl region Berdibek Saparbayev said at the session of the government today, zakon.kz reports.
The situation is stable now in the district, he noted.
The aid is being rendered to all families that lost their relatives in the incident, the governor said.
According to him, the leading doctors of Almaty came to Kordai.
Some citizens fled to Kyrgyzstan, he said.
To date, all schools and kindergartens are working as normal.
Saparbayev said local businessmen will be attracted in construction of houses and trade points for those suffered.
