Kazakhstan ratifies agreement with Uzbekistan on migration

AKIPRESS.COM - Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan approved ratification of the agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on cooperation in fighting illegal migration, Kazinform reports. The agreement was signed in April 2019 in Tashkent.
Ratification of the agreement will create favorable conditions for regulation of migration flows, resolution of citizens' problems and detection of illegal migration channels.
According to the first Deputy Interior Minister of Kazakhstan Marat Kozhoyev, the law will give an opportunity to exchange information on admission of documents, regulation of issues emerged as a result of combating dual citizenship and illegal migration.
