Economic growth was 4.5% in Kazakhstan in 2019 – Tokayev

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said economic growth was 4.5% in the country in 2019 speaking at the extended government session today, Liter.kz reports.
"Growth is observed in the main spheres of the economy. All these indicators should have a positive affect. We should further develop the key tasks voiced at my election campaign. This will give a strong impetus to a stable development of the country, increasing people's prosperity. Last year, we could achieve good results - the economic growth made 4.5%," the head of state said.
The extended government session started in Nur-Sultan on January 24.
