216 precincts' reserve and composition formation under way

AKIPRESS.COM - The formation of composition and reserve is ongoing in 216 district election commissions, said the Central Election Committee on Jan 24. The district election commission is formed for 5 years consisting of half of representatives from political parties and half from representatives of local self-governments in accordance with the law of Kyrgyzstan on holding elections and referendums.
It is expected that the President of Kyrgyzstan will sign a decree on holding the elections local councils in Feb 2020. In this regard, the composition and reserve of district election committees should be formed by February 8, 2020.
