Epiphany bathing rite held with air temperature 10 degrees below zero in Issyk-Ata district

AKIPRESS.COM - Residents of Issyk-Ata district of Chui region took dip into artificial pool on the Russian Orthodox Epiphany with the air temperature 10 degrees below zero. Servicemen of the Russian air base in Kant also participated in the Epiphany dunk.
It was held on the territory of the Russian air base in the artificial pool on the aerodrome.
The water was consecrated by priest Alexander Anoshkin.
The heated tents were prepared for the bathers to warm up after the dip.
