Friendship group with Kyrgyzstan established in Italian Parliament

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov had a bilateral meeting with vice president of Italy's senate Paola Taverna.
The parties discussed the development of inter-parliamentary relations through the creation of a friendship group on cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in the Italian Senate, organization of reciprocal trips of parliamentary delegations of the two countries. The Italian side said a friendship group with Kyrgyzstan has been established in the Italian Parliament.
Taverna highly assessed the role of Kyrgyzstan in strengthening the parliamentary democracy in the region and expressed readiness for further strengthening the inter-parliamentary dialogue.
She also mentioned with satisfaction her visit to Kyrgyzstan in October 2018 for the autumn session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
