Almost 13 billion tenge debts of Kazakhstanis written off within tax amnesty for individuals

AKIPRESS.COM - As part of the tax amnesty for individuals, Kazakhstanis were written off almost 13 billion tenge debts, Vlast.kz reported. According to the state budget committee, 568,446 individuals were freed from late fees while paying the basic payment to the government.
As of January 1, 2019, the number of individuals, who have debts and opportunities to use the debt amnesty amounted to about 1.4 million people.
The highest number of people, who were written their late fees off, is in Almaty - 97,430, Turkestan region - 66,731 and Shymkent - 46,917. The fewest number is in Atyrau region - 15,253, Kyzylorda region - 14,466 and East Kazakhstan - 13,102.
The highest amount of debts were observed in Almaty, Pavlodar region and Almaty region, and the least in Aktobe region, Kostanay region and East Kazakhstan region.
