President of Tajikistan becomes Chairman of International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has been elected chairman of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea for a 3-year term, the Tajik president's press service said. The second consultative meeting of the heads of the Central Asian states was held today in Tashkent.
The joint statement of the Central Asian leaders and the work plan for organization of the consultative meeting were adopted.
