AKIPRESS.COM - Local authorities can not resolve the waste problem, MP Aaly Karashev said on November 29 at the SDPK faction meeting.
Deputy Director of the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Foresty Eldiyar Sheripov said that an inventory has been carried out on waste problem as of today. Local authorities are working in the regions, he said.
"They can not do this work, if they themselves are under sibsidies. How they can resolve the waste problem, when they can not make a road even. I am not speaking about the rural municipalities, although 4-5 towns need waste recycling plants. We are talking about this for 20 years, but where is a result?" Karashev said.
The parliamentarian proposed an outsourcing or PPP.
