AKIPRESS.COM - The close cooperation of Islam and Christianity will create favorable conditions for our citizens within the EurAsEC, said President Sooronbai Jeenbekov at the International Conference "Islam and Orthodox Christianity - Peaceful Religions" on Nov 21.
President noted that the religious, cultural, social peculiarities of nations will be received with the respect within council.
"Eurasian space will become an area of peaceful co-existence and interaction of nation with a common history. We will also strengthen our cooperation with neighboring countries in the field of religion. We need to think about religions special status in relations with the state," Jeenbekov said.
