Over 1,000 traffic rules violators not paid tickets within Safe City project

AKIPRESS.COM - Over 1,000 drivers did not pay fines on time for violations of traffic rules under the Safe City system, deputy chief of traffic police Ymanaly Sarkulov said on Nov 1. "We started fixing on March 4 in industrial mode. The sending the tickets on violations was launched on March 12. The Kyrgyzpost enterprise has a month to deliver tickets to the car owners. The violator has one-month period to voluntarily pay fine. If the violator has not paid the fine after 100 days, the materials are sent to the court," Sarkulov said.
The traffic police sent more than 1,000 materials to the court about violators who did not pay their fines as of end of October.
