AKIPRESS.COM - The ophthalmological department of Issyk-Kul regional hospital was reconstructed for 4 million soms, Turmush reports. The regional deputy governor Elmira Usenova, director of the hospital Toktobai Manayev, doctors and locals attended the opening ceremony.
4.2 million soms were allocated for the reconstruction of the department from the development fund of the Issyk-Kul region.
"About 600 patients are treated annually, including about 300 patients undergo various eye operations. We accept patients with severe eye injuries at any time. Tourists also come to us," said the doctor Lira Asanbaeva.
Currently, the ophthalmological department has 15 employees, including 3 doctors, 7 nurses.
