AKIPRESS.COM - Since the beginning of tourism season in 2019, there were days when the north cost of Issyk-Kul had simply no available rooms for vacationers, Governor of Issyk-Kul region Akylbek Osmonaliyev said.
The official statistics of the number of visitors will be ready in October, he said.
There is a recorder of vehicles entering Issyk-Kul region in Balykchy town. On the weekends, the number of vehicles entering Balykchy was 22,000-23,000.
"This is occurring for the first time. It speaks for improving of opportunities of the population," Osmonaliyev added.
