Criminal probe launched against ex-Deputy Interior Minister Kursan Asanov

AKIPRESS.COM - Criminal probe was launched against ex-Deputy Interior Minister Kursan Asanov, sources told AKIpress.
Asanov, who was sacked on Aug 13 by the Prime Minister for the betrayal of police interests and loss of trust, is suspected of power abuse by the military prosecution, sources said.
He is being interrogated by the Prosecutor's Office. The information was confirmed by the Prosecutor General's Office.
The Interior Ministry said Asanov was sacked for unauthorized intervention in surrender negotiations between Interior Minister Kashgar Junushaliyev and ex-President Almazbek Atambayev on August 8 in Koi-Tash village.
