Atambayev charged with two counts of Criminal Code

AKIPRESS.COM - Former President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev is charged with two counts of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan, the Pervomay district court of Bishkek said.
On August 9, Atambayev was detained by police during storming of his house in Koi-Tash. He was brought to the Interior Ministry first, and then taken to the GKNB.
The court said Atambayev is charged with corruption and organization of unlawful action.
He was taken into custody until August 26.
