Pneumonia prevalence 24.3% up in Kyrgyzstan in 2021

AKIPRESS.COM - More than 16,000 pneumonia cases were registered in Kyrgyzstan in January-June 2021, which is 24.3% more than in the same period of the previous year, the National Statistics Committee reproted with reference to the Ministry of Health.
The highest increase in pneumonia prevalence rate is reported in Naryn region - 1.7 times more, in Chui, Issyk-Kul regions and Bishkek - 1.6 times more.
The number of pneumonia cases fell by 25.3% in Batken region, by 20.1% in Talas region.
Most pneumonia cases account for Chui region - 20.3%, Jalal-Abad region - 17.6%, Osh region - 15.1%.
