Turkmenistan, not Bishkek as planned before, to host consultative meeting of Central Asian leaders

AKIPRESS.COM - The consultatative meeting of the leaders of the Central Asian states will be held in Turkmenistan. This information came from the meeting of the Central Asian Foreign Ministers in Tashkent.
The meeting was held at the initiative of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said.
"The main theme of discussion was preparation for the consultative meeting of the Central Asian leaders, related political, economic and humanitarian events. This meeting will be held in Turkmenistan this August," the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said.
The Foreign Ministries of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan reported about planned meeting of the Central Asian leaders on August 6 in Turkmenbashi.
The Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan did not mention the venue of the consultative meeting. This meeting was planned before to be held in Bishkek.
