President Rahmon's mother-in-law reportedly died from coronavirus infection

AKIPRESS.COM - President Emomali Rahmon's mother-in-law Uzbekbi Asadulloeva, who was hospitalized with coronavirus symptoms, died in the evening of July 5, reported Tajik service of RFE/RL with reference to neighbors and government officials.
88-year-old Uzbekbi Asadulloeva, mother of first lady of Tajikistan Azizamoh Asadulloeva and Chairman of Orienbank Hasan Asadullozoda, remained under medical observation for the last 5 days.
The official cause of death of Uzbekbi Asadulloeva is not reported.
Uzbekbi Asadulloeva was native of Jaloliddin Balkhi district. The local administration confirmed hospitalization of the President's mother-in-law.
