Tashkent reopens COVID sorting centers closed last December

AKIPRESS.COM - COVID-19 sorting centers are reopened in Tashkent in connection with deterioration of epidemiological situation, local media reported.
Tashkent mayor Jahongir Artikhojaev visited Yoshlik sport complex. A 504-bed facility admits patients with suspected coronavirus infection there.
A 770-bed sorting center in Universal complex and a 700-bed facility in Uzexpocenter will be reopened on July 3.
Reserve 2,000 hospital beds are prepared for coronavirus patients.
Sorting centers were opened in Uzbekistan at the start of coronavirus pandemic in 2020 and were closed in December 2020 upon improvement of COVID-19 situation.
