5,000 tourists from Namangan region of Uzbekistan expected in Jalal-Abad region

AKIPRESS.COM - 5,000 tourists from the Namangan region of Uzbekistan are expected in Jalal-Abad region, said governor of Jalal-Abad region Absattar Syrgabayev. This number of tourists is expected as a result of bilateral meetings of official delegations of Fergana and Jalal-Abad regions including tourism operators.
During the visit, Uzbek delegation was shown Kara-Alma, Arstanbap, Padysha-Ata in Aksy district of Jalal-Abad. Citizens of the neighboring country started coming to Arstanbap, Kara-Alma and Jalal-Abad resort. "We are working on opening the Nanai checkpoint in the Aksy distrit on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border. The vacationers can come here through this checkpoint," he said.
224 404 tourists visited Jalal-Abad region in 2020 (in 2019 - 302,568 people).
