EU Special Representative, Turkmen government officials discuss bilateral ties

AKIPRESS.COM - EU Special Representative for Central Asia Peter Burian made a working visit to Ashgabat, where he held talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Audit Chamber Chairman Serda Berdimuhamedov and Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov. Peter Burian and Serdar Berdimuhamedov discussed development of construction in energy sector, transport, environmental protection and other spheres.
A special attention was paid to security and stability at regional and international levels.
Relevance of projects in green economy, development of rural areas, support of private sector and assistance to Turkmenistan's accession into WTO were considered.
The program of visit of the EU Special Representative to Ashgabat includes meetings with government officials.
