GKNB chief Tashiev was not on helicopter that made emergency landing in mountains

AKIPRESS.COM - Chairman of the State National Security Committee Kamchybek Tashiev was not in the helicopter that made an emergency landing in the mountains of the Alay district, the Committee told AKIpress.
The helicopter made an emergency landing with 15 people aboard, including the pilots, in the mountains of Alay district. Several people were injured, no deaths were reported, sources said. The helicopter belongs to the Air Defense Forces of Kyrgyzstan's Armed Forces. It was en route to the Chon-Alai district area bordering with Tajikistan.
Tashiev headed to Chon-Alai district in the morning of June 4 to resolve the situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border. He was accompanied by Nazirbek Borubaev, special representative of the Cabinet of Ministers on border issues, and Abdulat Myrzaev, director of the State Agency for Land Resources.
