Russia sells gas to Kyrgyzstan for $250 per 1000cu.m. and $70 for Belarus, both are members of EAEU - MP

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Akkulu Berdiev said at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on the fuel and energy complex and subsoil use that Russia sells gas to Kyrgyzstan for $250 per 1000 cubic meters. At the same time Russia sells gas to Belarus at $70 per 1000 cu.m.
Since Kyrgyzstan just like Belarus is a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, negotiations regarding this situation must be held with Russia, MP said.
Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Bekbolot Aliyev responded that negotiations on this issue are already underway.
The MP thinks that the gas should cost at least $100 for Kyrgyzstan, but not $250.
"Fuel is also more expensive to bring to our country," he said.
