Tajikistan deploys military vehicles, servicemen to undelimited border zone with Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border remains tense, the Border Service of Kyrgyzstan said on June 4.
"The Tajik side violated all previously reached agreements between the delegations of the countries on delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border and began putting up a container in undelimited border zone at around 3.00 a.m. of June 4 in Unzhu-Bulak area of Chon Alay district of Osh region and intruded up to 1,000 m into the territory of Kyrgyzstan," the Border Service said.
Concentration of servicemen on vehicles and light armored vehicles is observed from the Tajik side, the Border Service.
All actions are undertaken with the purpose of prevention of escalation of the conflict, the Border Service said.
